This section is dedicated to the memories associated with equipment that has been retained within a family for over 50 years.
It is our intent to recognize the equipment owners, the equipment, and create a place of honor for the units to be displayed at each of our shows. There will be photo album and articles about the equipment and the owners.
Rules for being selected as a 'Heritage Unit are:
The unit must have been
1. Produced by the International Harvester Company
2. Produced at least 50 years ago (50 years old)
3. Purchased new by a family member (not necessarily the father)
4. Owned by current owner minimum of 5 years
5. Currently powered by an engine
6. Be in running and operational condition (not necessarily restored)
7. And most obviously, current owner must be a member of ‘The Lone Star Chapter # 25’
of the IH Collectors Club.
